    Dear Members,

    Beginning Monday, June 8th, Jefferson Parish Employees Federal Credit Union’s East Jefferson General Hospital and Charles B. Odom Sr. Branches will open our doors to fully service our membership. Due to restrictions still in place because of COVID-19, we will have a limit of 6 members at a time in our lobbies. Our Joseph S. Yenni and General Government Branch will continue taking expanded appointments. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 504-736-6144. For the time being, the Kenner Branch will be limited to drive-thru and curbside service only. You may also take advantage of our full service ATMs and HomeBranch online banking. These convenient features give 24-hour access to your account.

    Dear Members,

    Beginning Monday, May 18th, Jefferson Parish Employees Federal Credit Union will start bringing employees back in stages. We will follow all CDC workplace guidelines along with the State of Louisiana Stage 1 recommendations. Our offices will remain closed to the public; however, our drive thru windows at our Kenner and Odom Branches as well as our ATMs will remain open to serve your financial needs. You may also choose to use our full-service website and HomeBranch online banking 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

    Starting Wednesday, May 20th, we will offer lobby visits by appointment only. These appointments are designed to give our members the ability to complete transactions which cannot easily be done at the drive thru such as opening accounts, debit card PINs, and CD and IRA transactions. The East Jefferson Hospital location will accept limited appointments beginning May 26th. Appointments will be limited to no more than (2) two members inside the lobby at any time.

    We will also start offering limited curbside services starting Tuesday, May 26th. This service will allow you to remain in your vehicle while one of our friendly team members comes to you. While we will not be offering any cash transactions with this service, you will be able to sign documents, get account balances or even request a loan. Our curbside service will operate by appointment only at our Yenni, Odom and Kenner Branches.

    On a personal note, I want to thank each of you, our members, for your patience and continued support of your Credit Union through these unusual and trying times. I would also like to say thank you to our Board of Directors who have shown unwavering support and dedication to providing both our members and staff with clear direction and leadership. Lastly, to our amazing staff, thank you for your tireless hours, focus on member service and working as a true team to make this difficult situation as easy as possible.

    Dear JPEFCU Members,

    We hope this message finds you and your families safe during this COVID-19 Pandemic.  We wanted you to know as we navigate through these challenging and unprecedented times, JPEFCU is here for you.

    Although our lobbies remained closed for the safety and protection of our members and staff, JPEFCU’s Kenner and Odom drive-thru locations are open from 8:30AM – 4:00PM, Monday – Friday.  The night depositories at the Yenni Main, EJGH and General Government Building Branches are CLOSED.  Please only use the Kenner and Odom Night Depositories.     In accordance with guidance from health authorities, we are taking steps to increase social distancing and limit physical contact.  Remember you can access your account using our HOME Branch online banking and our MOBILE Branch mobile banking. In order to download our MOBILE Branch app you must be signed up for HOME Branch online banking.  You can download our MOBILE Branch app on your smartphone via our website at www.jpefcu.org or find it in the App Store or Google Play.  Data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

    You can also add your JPEFCU Credit or Debit Card to your Mobile Wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay), so that you can have the convenience of simply paying with your smartphone. For more details please visit www.jpefcu.org, under Products and Services.

    In addition, you may visit our ATMs with deposit features available at most locations.  Please go to www.jpefcu.org for a complete listing of our ATMs and the locations offering deposit services.  Our JEFF 24-Hour Audio Response System at (504) 736-6555 is also available.

    In the event the Credit Union reaches out to you, we will never request any confidential information such as card numbers, passwords or personal identification numbers (PIN). Do not provide any of this information by phone, e-mail or text message. Unfortunately, this pandemic is creating a new opportunity for scams.

    JPEFCU offers a variety of ways to access accounts 24 hours a day.  Members are able to:

    • Apply for VISA Credit Cards through HOME Branch;
    • Apply for Loans through HOME Branch; and
    • Also, manage transfers, payments, pay bills and monitor account activity on HOME Branch.

    For your convenience, JPEFCU is a member of the CO-OP Shared Branch Service Center.  The CO-OP extends the opportunity for our members to access their account(s) at over 5,000 locations throughout the United States.  Go to www.co-opsharedbranch.org or call 1-888-748-3266 to locate the Service Center nearest you.  Please note you will need to know your JPEFCU member account number and have a valid ID in order to use a Service Center.  Your JPEFCU account cannot be retrieved with your Social Security Number due to security reasons.
