NEW - Tap to Pay Cards

Beginning early 2026, JPEFCU will launch Tap-to-Pay (contactless) debit cards. These cards allow you to simply tap your debit card at checkout—no swiping or inserting—providing added protection against skimming devices and a faster, easier checkout experience.

New Tap-to-Pay debit cards will be issued as current cards reach their expiration dates. Your card number will stay the same, but activation will be required once your new card arrives.

Now you’ll have convenient access to your checking account without writing a check or waiting for check approval, as well as 24-hour access to cash! Just choose CREDIT at the register and sign! Stop by one of our 5 branches to be issued a VISA Debit Card.

Plus, use your VISA Debit Card to deposit cash or checks at most of our ATMs 24 hours-a-day. Insert cash and checks right into the ATM, no envelope or deposit slip is needed.

Debit Card Limits*:

  • Daily Cash Limit: $800

  • Point of Sale/Purchase Limit: $2,500

  • Young Money Checking Account Limits: $300 Cash Limit, $500 POS Limit
